Worship & the Arts
Worship is more than simply gathering together once a week in a service to sing together. We worship constantly — in the way we spend our time, in the things we focus on and in the way we live our lives.
We believe the arts are a gift from God, and by using them for His glory, we can visibly demonstrate our love for Him. We seek to use all the arts – music, drama, visual arts, dance, the written word, media and more – to glorify God, create a Christ-centered worship environment and build bridges to the community around us.
At Walnut Hill, one of the ways we seek God together is by gathering each weekend for services. Just as the Scripture passage and sermon are carefully prepared, the worship leaders and teams spend time choosing and practicing songs to help us enter into the Lord’s presence, proclaiming who He is and what He has done.
What’s the name of that song?
Each week, we post the songs that we will be singing to help you come to services prepared to worship together. Along with the titles of the songs, we post a Spotify playlist so you can listen to the songs.
You can find the songs that we sing here.
Serving in Worship
Every weekend at Walnut Hill, we have 11 different worship services across our five campuses. It takes hundreds of volunteers to support our services. We need setup and teardown crews, musicians, sound and media technicians, videographers, ushers, and service coordinators.
Find out about these opportunities to serve in worship and in other ministry areas at the Walnut Hill Serve website.
Specific information on auditions for the worship team and other Worship & the Arts roles can be found on the Worship Audition page.
