Encounter with God

Last week I had the opportunity to walk the Prayer Trail for the first time! As I came to the Father God Prayer Garden I began to read the “My God” sign with all the names for God. I came to “Jehovah Rapha” – the Lord who heals and in that moment the elements of the day changed: the serenity of that moment was palpable; the wind immediately shifted and became the gentlest breeze and the peace I felt in that moment was profound. I shared this with AJ, our Pastor of Prayer and he said that I encountered God in the Prayer Garden and what a beautiful encounter it was, as the impact of that moment still lingers with me.
