My Neighborhood
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
Matthew 22:39

A freeing message...

Search through the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) and you'll find one of Jesus' primary messages was one of love. Second, after loving God, was tangible love for mankind.

Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35.) Love is the means by which we are to be recognized.

But what does that look like?

For many people, love is something that is not felt immediately, but over time as one person genuinely and consistently listens, shares, or acts. Therefore, places in which we spend regular time are natural places for love to abound!

Have you considered how God could use you in the lives of people on your street?

What are we waiting for?

May you pray boldly and may you pray in faith, believing that the King of kings can transform lives in your neighborhood!

Praying for My Neighborhood
Ask God to help you identify whom to pray for and begin to pray! Here are a few ways you could pray:

~ Ask God to reveal Himself to each person.
~ Pray that they would be receptive to Him.
~ Pray for opportunities to show them His love.
~ Pray for opportunities to be real and share about your life and faith.
