How does news travel through a region?
Did you know that on an average weekend our church family travels from 20-30 different towns in this area to worship together! That means the Lord's work in our lives has the potential to impact not one town - but a community. Our community.
Whether you live in Bethel or Patterson - the God-empowered prayers, words, and works from this united church family make a difference and can change this area's landscape forever!
This station is dedicated to focusing our prayers toward our community.
May God give you a heart for this region and may you hear the Spirit's prompting as you pray!
Approximately three quarters of our congregation lives in the following nine towns:
Bethel, Brewster, Brookfield, Danbury, Newtown/Sandy Hook, New Fairfield, New Milford, Ridgefield, Southbury.
Most of the remaining quarter lives in these towns:
North Salem, Watertown, Somers, Bridgewater, Carmel, Marion, Middlebury, Monroe, Naugatuck, Oxford, Patterson, Pawling, Redding, Roxbury, Sherman, Waterbury, Woodbury, Trumbull, Easton, Wilton, Wolcott
Praying for Our Community
Ask God to help you as you identify the people, issues, or places on His heart. Here are a few ways you could pray:
~ Ask God to reveal himself to each person or at each location.
~ Pray that they would be receptive to Him.
~ Pray for opportunities to show His love.
~ Pray for opportunities to be real and share about your life and faith.
~ If this is an issue, ask God to intervene and how you may play a part in that.
