Prayer is simply talking to God and listening to Him, and it’s the foundation for every ministry, program and decision made at Walnut Hill.
We believe that God wants to be in relationship with us, to listen to us and to respond as a Father who loves His children — so much, in fact, that He gave us Jesus. This is why we can’t get enough of prayer! We would be honored to pray for you at any time in your journey so that you may be refreshed, renewed and restored by the love and power of Jesus.
Are you in need of prayer?
There are three basic ways to receive prayer at Walnut Hill: on Sunday mornings, through Elder prayer, by submitting a request online.
You’ll be invited to the front of the room after the service to receive prayer. Our Bethel and New Milford Campuses also have a dedicated Prayer Room where Prayer Servants are available to pray with you on Sunday mornings. You can also write your request on the card attached to your Weekly and drop it in the offering plate or prayer request box.
Through Elder Prayer
We are instructed in Scripture (James 5:17) to call on the Elders of the church when we are sick, so that they may anoint us with oil and pray for us. If you need healing, our Elders would love to pray with you. To schedule a private session, call the church office at 203-796-7373 or email email@example.com.
Online Prayer Wall
You may submit a prayer request 24/7 on the online Prayer Wall. You can choose to make it public or keep it private. Either way, our volunteer prayer warriors, staff, and elders will actively pray over your specific need. If you choose, you can make the request public on our community Prayer Wall.
We partner closely with our Care Ministry Team to meet your needs on both practical and spiritual fronts. You may want to explore the Care Ministry to identify additional resources that are available to you.
