Kyler grew up in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, about an hour and a half outside of Washington, DC. He graduated from West Virginia University in 2001 with a degree in Political Science and History and is pursuing his master’s degree through Fuller Theological Seminary. Kyler has been working in student ministry for over 10 years. Before entering into vocational ministry, he worked as a high school teacher. He loves youth ministry, and very much enjoys helping students to own and engage their faith at such a foundational period in their lives.
Kyler’s interests are quite varied. As a student, his summer jobs included raft guide, landscaper, Senate intern and plumber’s assistant. He loves music, watching and playing sports, being outdoors, and leading mission trips.
Kyler and his wife, Heather, have been married for more than 10 years and have four boys who keep their life simultaneously chaotic and amazing.
