What We Believe
As often as our church changes and evolves, with new programs, new campuses, and new ideas on how to share the Gospel, one thing has NOT changed since Walnut Hill's inception: What We Believe.

About Human Beings
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature; and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word and deed.

About Eternal Security
We believe that those who have given themselves to Jesus have everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but are passed from death unto life; and that the Lord Jesus Christ gives unto them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of God's hand.
John 5:24; 10:28-29 -
About the Church
We believe that the Church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and that it includes all who have surrendered their lives to the Lord. Its mission is to offer acceptable worship to God and to serve Him faithfully by spreading the Gospel and making disciples of all nations. The ordinances of the Church are baptism and the Lord's Supper.

About Eternity
We believe in the physical resurrection of the body. Those who don't know Christ shall be eternally separated from God's presence, but believers shall live and reign with Him forever.
