Clive, a passionate preacher and lover of Jesus Christ, sets the visionary course for our Church, serving as its primary teacher at our Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday morning services each weekend, and leading its staff team. Because of his back-ground leading the national evangelical churches in the UK and as president of World Relief, he has a heart for reaching out to the indigenous churches around the world, helping them help the poorest of the poor through the love of Jesus.
When he's not preaching, reading or writing one of his many books, Clive can be found cooking Indian food in his kitchen. He and his wife, Ruth, have four grown children.

Having initially met Jesus at age five, Adam experienced a spiritual renewal in his twenties that God used to redirect his life and to birth a passion for seeing New England transformed by the love and power of God. A pioneer at heart, Adam has spent much of his life in different contexts exploring, creating and implementing plans and strategies.
Adam is responsible for the strategic development of our new campuses and is passionate about mobilizing people to reach cities with the love of Christ.
When Adam is not scouting out new ground, he can be found having fun with his family and playing piano. Adam and his wife, Carrie, have three children.

AJ believes that each of us is hard-wired to desire a deep personal relationship with God, so his recent entry onto our staff as Pastor of Prayer is a perfect fit.
He has had the joy of serving on many leadership teams at Walnut Hill including one term on the elder board as their prayer coordinator before coming on staff February 2010 to lead the prayer ministry.
AJ received his bachelor’s degree in art from Western CT State University in '97. After graduating, he began a career in fine art and portrait painting that has spanned the last twelve years. Because his role on staff is 30 hours a week, he continues to paint portraits and landscapes, and exhibit his work widely throughout the northeast. AJ lives in Southbury, CT with his wife Mirjam and two sons, Lucas and Joshua.

Brian, who was ordained as a minister in 2009, leads our Program Team, the group responsible for planning and executing our weekend services and special events.
He has a passion for preaching and teaching and shares the majority of Walnut Hill's preaching duties with Senior Pastor Clive Calver. You'll see Brian preaching at our Satruday evening and Sunday morning services approximately once a month, but he's just as likely to be leading worship with his guitar, or even on drums.
He's also the primary speaker for our Sunday at 6:30 p.m. service.
A graduate of Bethel Seminary, he and his wife Becca have three daughters.

Flying airplanes in the sub-arctic Alaska, and then for a few decades as an American Airlines pilot, wasn't "hard enough" for Clay. After retiring early, he took a part-time position at Walnut Hill. His involvement is with the building & grounds but also includes spiritual development of leaders, with an emphasis on the staff. In addition, he helps with pastoral care and counseling issues.
Clay and his wife Joy enjoy skiing, traveling, reading, and gardening in their few spare moments.
