Pier 22:6 Discover. Explore. Journey

Proverbs 22:6 says “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

A pier is built on pillars and so is our Children’s Ministry. At Pier 22:6, we want to partner with parents to train a child in the way he should go, so faith will guide him or her on the journey through life.

With Christ as the foundation for the pillars that support our Children’s Ministry, it will survive the crashing waves and provide safe haven for families.

Our 4 pillars are:

  • Partnership (community)
  • God’s Love (for all children)
  • God’s Word (spiritual growth)
  • Service (outreach/each other)

Pier 22:6 gives children the opportunity to worship together, see God’s Word taught creatively and have small group time to build relationships. We use puppets, skits, videos, music, games and more to help children discover God loves them, explore God’s Word and apply God’s Word on their journey with Him.

I hope that we are all humbled that we get to be a part of what God wants to do in Pier 22:6 Children’s Ministry. We get to “be the difference” by allowing God to work through us. Let’s be part of helping kids discover Christ, explore God’s Word, and start their journey of Christ likeness in Pier 22:6.
