We want to be people who are real about who we are and what we believe without being pushy. We also want to pray that God will move in the hearts and lives of those around us so that God’s love for them might be seen.

We have some common terms related to evangelism — or sharing your faith — that have become important to us as a community. Here’s a quick guide to some of the terms that you may hear at a weekend service.

Surrender

When someone decides to follow Jesus with their life, we call this “surrender.” What exactly does it mean to “surrender to Jesus?” You can learn more here …

Yellow Flowers

At every Walnut Hill campus, you will find at least one vase of yellow flowers. Each flower represents a person who has surrendered his or her life to Jesus since January 1 of that year.  Learn more…

Share Jesus
