Prayer
We’re hard-wired for relationship. Made in the image of God, we are relational beings that yearn to love and be loved. This yearning of our hearts to connect with God is by design. For the One who created the heavens and the earth created us for relationship with Him. But sin crept into the garden of our hearts, and separated us from God’s presence.
So the Father, who loves us more than we’ll ever know, sent His son to be the Savior of the world. Jesus came to die on a cross for our sins, that we might be forgiven and reconciled. The Father’s love raised Jesus back to life, defeating the power of sin and death forever. Now relationship with the living God has been restored. When we surrender our lives to Jesus, He sends the Holy Spirit to live within us. Imagine, perfect fellowship with the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit.
Now God’s love has been revealed, our lives renewed, and our hearts restored. Nothing stands between us. Communicating with God has never been easier, or more personal. This authentic, heartfelt dialogue is called prayer. It’s the language of love, so open your heart today, and pray.
Our God Hears.
